The Group is principally engaged in the following main business segments:

• Plantation – The plantation division involves in activities such as cultivation of oil palms, sale of fresh fruit bunches and management of plantation operation services. The Group manages 12 oil palm estates with total planted area of 44,005 hectares, of which 32,459 hectares are planted in Malaysia and 11,546 hectares are planted in Indonesia as at 31 December 2013. It also owns and operates two palm oil mills in Terengganu, Malaysia. In addition, the Group also operates a bio-composting plant, which is to convert empty fruit bunches and palm oil mill effluent into bio-organic fertiliser for use in its estates. The plant, which is located in Terengganu, is able to produce up to 18,000 metric tonnes of fertiliser per annum.

• Healthcare - Healthcare division involves in activities such as provision of healthcare consultancy and operation of specialist medical centres. It owns four community specialist hospitals, namely Kelana Jaya Medical Centre (KJMC) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor; Kuantan Medical Centre (KMC) in Kuantan, Pahang; Kuala Terengganu Specialist Hospital (KTS) in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu and Taman Desa Medical Centre (TDMC) in Kuala Lumpur.
